This position's primary responsibilities include administering and securing our Linux server infrastructure including regular backups, monitoring, patching, and other proactive maintenance. This person will participate in an on call rotation and will need to be available off hours for occasional emergencies or planned maintenance. Required Skills:
Linux Server Administration Configuring and troubleshooting sssd, samba, and other technologies to support Linux communicating with Windows servers VMWare (or similar hypervisor) administration Ability to communicate effectively with your technical peers as well as non technical staff Troubleshooting problems at all layers of the OSI model Fluency in at least two scripting languages (e.g. perl, python, etc.) Helpful Skills:
Experience managing Linux-based workloads in Amazon Web Services Experience managing container based environments Familiarity with orchestration tools like Salt, Ansibile, or Puppet Working from the Chester, VT office is preferred, but remote work is possible for the right individual based on a regular schedule of 9-5 Eastern Time .
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
