Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Lawn and Meadow Care Weed whacking Raking, pickup of leaf/tree debris when necessary Operating a large riding mower and a UTV with a small trailer and brush-hog.
Shoveling snow and sanding in winter Cutting/splitting/stacking wood when needed Maintain gardens Operating a large walk behind snow blower Simple carpentry and painting Odd jobs as needed, i.
e:
Straightening fence posts, clearing culverts, replacing light bulbs or fixtures, pickup goods at local suppliers, building basic shelving Helping when needed with unloading incoming shipments.
Additional hours may be possible if candidate has interest in working part time in warehouse/shipping.
Training provided where needed for applicants with proficiency in most basic skills.
Those with the most skill and background/experience will receive highest consideration.
Good interpersonal skills are also important to the position.
Drivers License and reliable transportation are required.
Skill and background in basic small engine maintenance, basic carpentry & painting is important, though your individual skills will be considered.
Wages dependent on skill level and background/experience.
All equipment and materials provided.
All equipment and materials provided/week currently available.
Most work is seasonal.
By the end of fall season, hours will diminish.
Winter hours will be much fewer, though there is some potential of moving into indoor/warehouse oriented work.
We will consider applicants with as few as 15-20 hrs/week available.
