PathWays is in its 50th year of providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Sullivan and Grafton counties in NH.
We desire to expand opportunities in the community for the individuals in our services to live a fulfilling life.
Our residential homes in Claremont and Newport support either 1 or 2 individuals in a residence.
Many of the staff in the homes have been with PathWays for about 5 years and some much more than that.
If you are patient, understanding of people's differences, compassionate and attentive, this may be the program for you.
Some of the individuals may have behavioral challenges and we will train you on each individual and the best ways to develop a relationship with them which helps lessen challenges.
At the residence, you may assist individuals with daily living skills, safety, communication, and community integration as well as bathing, meals, activities, and toileting -- each individual has different needs in this area.
You will also assist in completing household tasks such as laundry, sweeping, meal preparation, etc.
Each individual has at least one goal to work on and you will play a vital part in helping each of them achieve those goals.
Our main goal as an organization is to have the individuals participating and engaging in their community.
To do that, you need to be a strong advocate for the individuals, a willing team player and motivated to create the best possible living experience for the individuals at the home.
With the complex needs of the residents in Lyme, you will learn to drive a passenger van for transportation and become certified to give medications by our Nurse Trainers.
What we need:
a high school diploma or equivalent is required you must be at least 18 years of age excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail prior experience with the developmental disability community is a huge plus dependability and flexibility with scheduling A valid driver's license and auto insurance you to complete a comprehensive background check you to complete a TB test paid for by us proof of full vaccination for COVID We are an EOE and hope you will join us in making a difference.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
